Former Wilfrid Laurier University teaching assistant and graduate student Lindsay Shepherd is suing Laurier along with two professors and the school’s gendered violence coordinator over their conduct in the infamous closed-door inquisition from 2017.
Prof. Jordan Peterson is also suing over the characterization of him in that meeting as comparable to Hitler.
Professors Nathan Rambukkana and Herbert Pimlott are now suing Shepherd in a third-party claim filed as part of their defence in Peterson’s lawsuit, arguing if Peterson was defamed, it’s Shepherd’s fault and not theirs.
